3 Generations

My Mamaw Shirley made her first Adair clothing purchase last night and I must say, she is going to blow the McGill Baptist congregation out of the water- in a super chic age appropriate way, of course! We got her away from black and in to something softer! I have to say, its pretty exciting that she trust me enough to deck her out in “young people’s clothing”, but this just proves-its all about how you style it! Needless to say, I was excited for her! No doubt, my Papaw Bob is going to set eyes on her and think, “Okay, Shirl. Go on wit ya bad self!”- maybe not those exact words, but ya feel me!

That's our Mustard Print Blouse and the Creme version of our Mint Jacket!

Love ya, Mamaw!

And... He's Legal

My little (or not so little) brother is turning EIGHTTEEN today! It should be an exciting day for him, I mean he does get to see me tonight for dinner- haha. I have a feeling this weekend he will be celebrating because Lord knows; he will be in bed by 10:30 on this Wednesday night. He may be 18, but he is still under Momma’s roof – yes, as a Senior in high school if you are in the Cook house, you still have a bed time {my mom is a 4th grade teacher & you better believe her children get their full 8 hrs}! Back on track,
 HAPPY BIRHTDAY RILE!

My past two days have been a chaotic mess of note cards, textbooks, and Redbull!

Lucky for you, I was able to take just enough time away from school to get some new stuff up on Adair!! All of these dresses just SCREAM SPRING! All of the colors, although from different pallets, are just perfect for this sun shinning weather we have been having! Hope yall love them as much as I do!

At The Crack Of The Bat, I Found The HAT

Spring has sprung and along with it… Carolina Cup, one of the Carolina’s college kid’s events of the year. Bring on the pastels, Lilly Prints, bowties, and HATS (my fav part of this planning- obviously)! Although I haven’t decided on a dress, I HAVE THE HAT! I scooped it up back in February at America’s Mart while buying for Adair {when you find something you love, you just can’t leave without it}. As soon as I saw it, I new I wanted to create my outfit around it: I just loved the natural/raw vibe it has. However, I think Ill keep my chosen one a secret until the big day so, you guys can see my whole look put together! My dress will be one of two Adair New Arrivals that will be up tomorrow, but they are both so darn cute I can’t pick one.

On a side note- I won’t be the only one repping Adair at the Cup, which makes me a VERY happy girl! I can’t wait to see some of our styles floating around: it just makes me all warm and fuzzy inside!

Anyways, Happy Tuesday, yall! After tomorrow, we will be on the down hill slope for the weekend- until then, here’s a little hat fun!

We Fell In Love In A Hopeless Place

So, it may be a month away, but I've started putting together my ensemble for a semi I have coming up. I am loving BOLD color right now, so Adair's Lover's Blues Dress is going to be the chosen on for this event!
I just love that it is bright, striking, vibrant, feminine, lace... should I go on or are yall getting the point? It's just too cute to boot. Anyways, now that I have the dress, all I need is the SHOES. Da na na.

At first thought, I was not exactly sure what direction I wanted to go with the duds on my feet. I assumed with the endless options that could go with this solid dress, the hunt for shoes would be like a wild goose chase and I would be searching the high heavens for days never being able to make a decision. But, I was wrong.
These Pierre Hardy color blocked wedges called my name as soon as I saw them. In my head, Rhianna's We Fell In Love In A Hopeless Place was playing. Yes, I loved them that much-the chunky wedge, pop of color, contrast in texture, and the sleek lines, how could I not? Don't get to excited- this is a tragic love story. These, my friends, are WAY over my budget!
Lucky for me, after a bit of sulking, I found these little gals by Qupid at Piperlime. They encompass everything I love about the Pierre Hardy's at a MUCH more reasonable price point. And I am totally diggin  the yellow & cobalt combo- EKKK. I can't want to see how this outfit comes together. Finding accessories will be the next task, but so far I love the twist of the dress's vintage silhouette and fabric with the bold color contrast and sleek lines of the shoes.

The Break Has Come

Oh hallelujah, this week of school is finally over. We all know what that means- SPRING BREAK. I mentioned Tuesday, with this trip less than a week away and all of the excitement of Adair it would be a wonder if I made acceptable grades on my test this week. I took them today-IT WILL BE A WONDER.

The majority of my study time this week turned into “WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR NEXT WEEK? & HOW AM I GOING TO WEAR IT?” time. Good news, packing will now be 10x easier.
One of the things I am most excited to wear is this FAB.U.LOUS. necklace, that will be available on www.shopadair.com late next week. It is a statement, nonetheless.

I wanted wear it as an accent with a simple white tank, black maxi skirt, and an arm full of bangles. You know, going for the beachy look. I found a black maxi at Old Navy and for only $24. Deal.
I can’t wait to see how it comes together. I’ll be posting pics- yall can let me know what ya think!

Also in the Adair winners' circle, Jen Stansell, Morgan Bailey, and Shelby Mckinney are the lucky ones that will be receiving our Electric Wallets! Hope yall enjoy! Be sure to like Adair on Facebook to get the latest on FREE giveaways like this one!
